That's great that you two are communicating honestly and their aren't any games being played that have to be figured out. I don't read people well at all. I really like the kind of conversation that doesn't keep me guessing what to say next because I may have read the message wrong. I tend to ask for clarification on things. That can be awkward sometimes but I tell them that I have to fully understand the message so I don't make an ass out of myself (which does seem to happen at times) and to please forgive my shallowness. Oh, that works like a charm, self deprication. See, it's an I hurt myself before you do Face saved!

I agree with you, too. I believe that some intellegent power created all of this. I'm just not sure what or who that power is. I am trusting science and my own thinking ability to find the answer. I imagine that I will become board with the whole thing and drop it eventually.

I agree with Terry. Paul said that he would never have known sin if it wasn't for the Mosaic law. There. Sin was invented so people would see that they need saved. To get saved, you must agree with what the preachers tell you. You cannot simply be a good person. That isn't good enough. It used to be. What happened? The law covenant taught people to become needy and fearful of death and displeasing people in power over them. Hmmm...create a need then sell the product. Perfect! No offense to those who really find religion satisfying. More power to them. They will live a long time. It is just not for me.

It's that old thing of believe the Bible because the Bible says to believe it. The Bible says it's infalible, so it must be. I wouldn't pick. I figure I'll find out where I end up if and when I wake up from death. I don't believe in a burning hell, so that is a non-issue. I'm becoming less and less worried about what happens after death.

REALLY Think about it before you post

there is a lot of threads going back and forth both ways, almost like a battle line has been drawn between believers and atheists.

however, let's just say for the sake of argument, that all religions including the witnesses, are wrong but the bible in itself is right.. everything that it has foretold is going to happen and just as god told noah, in 7 more days i am going to make it rain, but this time he now speaks to all of us and says in just 7 more days i will wipe the earth clean of all those who have or are revolting/disagree against me.. how would you react then?

how would you live your next 7 days?

For me, it's the case of the god of the Bible saying to worship him or die and all of those innocent babies, old people, and non-military personel he killed by the Israelites hands. For non-Israelites, it was die or become their slaves. Not much of a choice or life. Free will is a joke in the Bible. God also said that before him there was no other god. He was in effect saying that their was a time before his existence meaning that he did in fact have a beginning and there was a time that he didn't exist. I'm with the person who was going to go camping and bid nature farewell. I think I will go camping, too. Bringin's dirt nap idea just took the sting out of death for me. I accept it and it's ok.

I found Jesus in the falls on p 93 live forever book!!

i always heard comments that there were faces and other objects in the falls on p 93. now i think i have finally confirmed this.

i scanned page 93 using only 300 dpi scanner and did some colour correction and sharpened the image a bit using photoshop .the result is surely jesus and there is also a face of a young kid below jesus.

now i think that the falls image contains a plurality of peoples faces, some people are standing and others just see the face only.. you can clearly make out a gash in jesus forehead.

I found a face in Jesus' hair on a page out of that book. You have to turn it upside down to see it, but it is definately there. The artists sure do have fun! My grandmother said that that artist would get into trouble for doing that as Bethel would never allow that in THEIR literature.

that im having another baby!!!!!.

just done the test and the line came up straight away....... we were planning on falling pregnant in about three months and happend to fall pregnant straight away...im still in shock but had to share it with you all my family.
